Nick Reed
Partner

Nick Reed is a Partner at Fast Track CVA in our Leeds office and has been with us since 2013. He spent 28 years with PwC’s advisory practice as a director based in Leeds and has vast experience working with both regional and national businesses in personal and corporate insolvency cases.

A chartered accountant and insolvency practitioner, Nick has previously been president of the West Yorkshire Society of Chartered Accountants and is also a former chairman of insolvency trade body R3 in Yorkshire.

Nick is extremely well-known in the regional marketplace and, as well as his extensive contacts, he has an impressive track record of working with businesses in distressed situations.

Julian Pitts
Managing Partner

Julian is a Managing Partner at Fast Track CVA and a well-known face on the business restructuring circuit. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in Leeds before developing his own specialist independent practice dealing with all aspects of insolvency and corporate recovery work.

He has significant experience in advising SMEs and their stakeholders, seeking innovative solutions to financial challenges – not least the latest challenge of COVID-19 distress.

Julian is a life-long supporter of Plymouth Argyle and he also spends time rallying a Mk1 Lotus Cortina as well as trying to reduce his golf handicap.

Bob Maxwell
Managing Partner

Bob is a Managing Partner at Fast Track CVA. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Partner at Deloitte and Kroll and he has nearly 25 years’ restructuring and recovery experience.

He qualified as an ACA in 1990 and is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. He has led numerous cases, both domestic and international, incorporating turnaround assignments, financial restructuring and insolvencies.

His knowledge of CVA procedures – including traditional and fast track – is second to none. He advises company directors and stakeholders on a daily basis and helps businesses not only fight fires but to then prosper, grow and expand.

I hadn’t heard of a Fast Track CVA until my accountant recommended the procedure to me following our business struggles related to the Coronavirus pandemic. We knew our business was sound, but accrued tax and overheads during lockdown left us on the brink of collapse. Thankfully, the Fast Track CVA literally saved our business.
